I was once talking with the owner of Joseph Audio and he told me that the connectors and wire made more of a difference than caps in sound. He uses Solen caps and Cardas wire and connectors. This is the advice of someone who spent over a year full time designing a speaker.

50R will be fine - their spec is +/- 10% anyway.

its doubtful you will turn it up all the way anyway, in which case 47r is just as good as 50r

Thanks Zen,I am using .25watt MF thru out, do I need to swap out the values in the cookbook with the following,R21,22,23,24,23a, 24a to 1E8?Should be up and running soon

Is there a benefit either way? I have loads of .25watt MF so unless there is a reason to not use them I will do so.
