Hi,
Is is okay to use polarized caps for the 10uFx3 coupling caps? Which side should the + go to? What is the minimum voltage rating for the cap? 35V will suffice? Thanks |

Hi Pepe,
thanks. I just checked original P1.7 schematic from the pass service manual. It does show polarity in that schematic. it has + going to Q15 D, + going to Q16 S. - to Q18 D, + to Q19 S. should I follow the schematic or the posting? per your previous post do you still measure over 50V across the caps? thanks. |

Hi Bengali,
actually I mounted the caps as in the attached image. The polarity of all caps are like you reported except that one in the circle... As You read in the other post my measures are quite strange: 50 Volt is too much! I won't be at home before ten days. I will make other measuraments trying other position of the caps. ASAP I will post there my results.... cheers Peppe |

Hi Peppe,
yes, that's the one I was not sure of. so Q18 should tie to pos side of cap and not neg. side? thx. |
