A question on wire, last F5 i made i used just wire i had hanging around, or mains wire. does anyone have suggestions for type of wire for
PCB->Inputs PCB->Outputs PSU->PCB I have no idea about types of wire but what did you guys use ? AWG thickness or ?

that very simple really
if flexible wire is needed, use stranded wire or else use solid core thick wire when really needed or else use something less just dont use wire that will put stress on the connection any kind of copper wire will do |

This site is good for wire and accessories. I used 16g for power connections and 2 conductor shielded for signal. Both silver plated Teflon.

Hifi collective does a good range of wires from ordinary? to the exotic.I've had good results with the silver plated copper teflon insulated wires they sell.

Excellent! got some good stuff now, i think it does matter to some degree which wire, that's answered it.
how about transformers and Shielding, i Personaly think its not too important to Shield in the F5 since its low noise anyway. and the transformer may be sitting away from the PCB's anyway. does it realy matter having unshielded transformers ?

After many hours of soldering, drilling, and setup, my F5 is running well.
I would say thank you for your helps on many subjects. One more happy diyer and hifier. next step ... pearl 2

Sounds great, i like the sound of that Pearl 2. not that Iv'e heard it but looks gr8. Yup you guys r very helpfull here.
Im going insane trying to figure out between the F5 Turbo v1 and v2 which one of the Diyaudio boards will make V2 or v1 turbo ? (im thinking none lol) If i cant find them here then ill just buy the ones on ebay.
