Could the aleph 3 amp be biased into an efficient class A/B?

Simple answer: NO

Aleph's can never be biased into class A/B because they're designed as SINGLE ENDED class A amplifiers.
By the way, why should you?

hmmm..why not have a look att Anthony holtons Nchannel amp?...its a Mosfet AB amp...and i believe it to be quite scalable..
