Doh! Correction: A single-ended amp biased by a
constant current source (such as the Zen)also has
constant draw, both instantaneous and average

Only if it operates off a single supply rail. If an SE amp uses dual supply rails, the current will only be constant in one of the rails since the speaker current is returned to the mid point of the supply (earth/ground) and not the other rail.
