Thank you so verry much mr. Nelson Pass! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
And thanks to everyone at this wounderful forum. I have now built the BOZ preamp. Is this more to be had from this design or should I move on to another preamp project? (or should I just sell the house, car and my soul to afford some Pass Labs gear? I would like to suggest that some form of comparison between the diffrent DIY projects be posted in the wiki. |

The market is down on housing right now, so I suggest the
balanced line stage (BOSOZ), which I think is quite a bit better and is similar to the Aleph P. |

FWIW, my BOZ preamp is the ONLY preamp of all that I have built (DOZ, Leach, Clepsidra etc) that has NO problems with hums/buzzes whatsoever...... Made me wonder. am I just a klutz or there is something about things designed by Mr Pass?

There is only one way to find out for sure, how a circuit sounds!
Build it, and listen to it Anyway, the suggestion on the BosoZ is a good one. |

Trust me, the BOSOZ sounds better than the BOZ.
I built both. They are leagues apart. So far, I only used unbalanced inputs and outputs on the BOSOZ. |

The amusing thing is that BOZ puts out nearly pure 2nd harmonic
and the BOSOZ puts out 3rd, although at lesser levels. |
