Just got the amp, great bass and liquid smooth mids, but where are the highs? It does not seem to have near the openness or transparency in the highs as many tube amps, or even a modded Threshold 400A. Any ideas?

Brand new? Break-in?

Why compare it to a tube amp? If SS amps could do all that tube amps can who on Earth would be buying tube amps? Masochists?

Now that we've had multiple phone calls from the buyer, the
seller, and rdietzel, I will state for the record:

Send the amplifier to us for examination and/or repair. It will
only cost you shipping.

If the amplifier gets damaged by virtue of fooling around with
it in the field, we charge quite a bit.
