Panasonic TS-HA fit the bill nicely.

Thanks guys,

The TS-HA series is going to be discontinued. Can anyone point me to where I could source them.
Actually whatever can provide full body sound with deeper bass will do. I like rock music.

An Aleph 5 might not be what you want.

Only 20mm diameter cans were discontinued. The sizes required for Pass amps typically have 30mm+ diameter cans and remain in production. Digikey have 2000+ TSHA 10,000uf/63V in stock for instance.

MikeW, Do you mean the Aleph 5 can't rock? Would like to listen more.

Aleph amps have a great midrange and highs, but their strength is not bass. If you want bass build a X100 amp or Krell clone.

Or build both and bi-amp.

Default aleph

I will second that nomination for a KRELL...if 50 watts is enough, you cannot beat the low end of the KRELL KSA-50. All the information for building one is on the DIYAUDIO wiki page.
