Do you know what kind of lightbulb Nelson use in his circuit? Brand?

http://www.passdiy.com/projects/zenlite2.htm http://www.passdiy.com/images/projects/zenlite-rear.jpg loks like lighbulbs. 300W 115V or so. http://www.sylvania.com/catalog/ i was not able to find what i would need to go this way. No ceramic sockets, not 600W 220V E27 bulbs. I have one 300, one 500 and one 1000W 220V E33 bulb and no socket. It works with halogen also. If anyone has a few nice ceramic sockets and bulbs around 1kW for me... The first one i built was with some 300W halosticks in parallel and had about 10W. |

I used some 3x20W 12V in series with my SOZ. I replaced just for fun two 8ohm resistors, and worked just fine!
here is a pic

chrille,
your link doesn´t work. If you want to build this ZEN, I think you shouldn´t worry about what kind of bulb. More important is a god ripply free power supply with some effective filtering. |

I haven't built one, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Zen lite ...
has a knack for illuminating the soundstage! (sorry. couldn't resist.) eL
