Default which one

i want build a big zen amplifier , but i dont like parralling mosfet,
so i must use only one big mosfet which can survive in 100w heat dissipation. which mosfet can do this job with normal Al. heatsink.

You might consider using an IRF250. It will handle a lot more power, but getting to 100w one a single device would be a struggle.

I'm assuming you're talking about 100 watts of total dissapation rather then class A output power.

Yes, you will recall that we were giving out flats of them at BAF 07

100W dissipation is not too hard on a regular TO-247 device, though if you want to push the limits, you could look uo some TO-264 devices. I know Onsemi makes some.

Oh, Mr Magura, not everybody has heatsinks like yours or mine... gettin' a 100 watt's worth of heat out of a TO247 is not easy, nor will it ever be I would rate the task: "Hard to achieve" But I am just a stupid amp-builder....he-he...
The OnSemi's has a big big Ciss value, so they kind of suc# for the purpose on hand....

i dont worry about heatsink , because i have some big heatsinks that can dissipate 100w . i dont know if irfp250 can dissipate 100w and how long it can last.
i know it is important to mount one mosfet on the heatsink when make it to dissipate 100w. what will i consider to take care of it?
i saw big mosfet (to264 and to247) on internet , but i dont know if they match linear application. so ask somebody to tell me which one is available for a amplifier.

How many do you need?

If we are talking just a few (like2 pcs.) drop me a line and I'll send them to you. The reason I as if it's just a few is not that you can't have more than 2, but the fact that shipping more to china will be rather expensive.
