X250.5 with CJ Preamps

Hello. I have a late model X250.5 and I am currently in pre-amp search mode. I am using the X250.5 with a Promethius "Ref4" TVC and i'm getting excellent results...(source is marantz sa11 and i'm running xlr's all the way)...but the "what ifs" are creeping in and i'm tempted to pull the trigger on some Conrad Johnson preamps (CT6 or 17LS)

speaks are dynaudio contour s3.4 (avg sensitivity moderate current hogs)

Pre's that i'm interested in:
CJ CT6 Pre Zout is 850 ohms single ended...no XLR...
17LS very similiar...

I was wondering:
1) is there an obvious mismatch or is this blown out of proportion by the "10x rule of thumb" of load to source ratio jargon...

2) will there be any real world losses by running the amp single ended (with xlr jumpers of course).

3)any user experiences out there with this combo??

BTW an LS15 w/600 ohms balanced out seems to run the amp "just fine"...

BTW, are there any fuses in this beast? I popped the hood and could not see anything obvious...I love the simple neat layout of the MOSFET follower PCBs mounted directly to the massive heatsinks...

We recommend the CJ without hesitation. The output impedance
is not an issue, nor is the single-ended output.
