Hi,
What is the minimum size for each mini-aleph xtor passif heatsink for 15V rail PSU? Standard Socket 370 CPU Heatsinks without Cooling Fans, is it good? Thanks P.s.: Sorry for my engish, I'm a French-speaking |

That's probably too small. My mini-a's heat sinks are approx 150mm x 430mm x 50mm per channel at 1 amp per channel. It runs very warm.
A way to test if it is too hot- if you can hold your hand on the heat sink for a few seconds without discomfort it is ok. If you can't hold your hand on the heat sink at all, even for 2 seconds, it's too small a heat sink. Hope this helps, Vince |
