Default max in put for aleph-p

hi
sorry every body
my aleph p is made but now i want to know how much voltage should i put in so it will come out undistorded out put ?
in another word is what will be the max input for aleph i find out that the out put is like 14 volt on the meter then it will cut the top on the scop . now what will be the in put ?
i am using a cd player that will give 200 mv at -20db is that mean that the max out put of the cd player will be 2 volt when it is 0db? if so when i put 2 volt in the aleph-p will give me 14 volt uncut will that be ok?

16db means ~ 6,3 x amplification
so -your 14V measured divide with 6,3

insert voltage divider in cable from cd ;10k in series,10k to ground;
it will halve output from cd;

btw- what you measured as 14V , that's Vpp ;

Papa sez 10 Volts,meaning on RMS voltage........same thing as your 14
