Is this how balanced operation works?
rca input -> balanced attenuator (with + and - output) -> respective + and - input of the aleph -> xlr output Is this right? Thank for the help |

it seems CD players comes with XLR output. I didn't know about that!

well you mentioned XLR in and I saw that as well in the service manual for 1.7.
I didn't know that the CD player must have balanced outputs as well so I can used a balanced preamp and amp. |

Some circuits can function as a phase splitter, taking an unbalanced input signal and giving a balanced output signal.
