Default does it really have to be 3x 10uF cap in the aleph 1.7?

is it okay if I just used something like 30uF?

Yes, you can use 1x30, 2x15 or 3x10 film, film and foil. round or square, regarding it fits in the board holes. Im using Black Gate N 47uF electrolitic non polar, as many others mates.

I suggest you to read carefully all the way through this thread. Youll find tons of answers about connections, volume controls and components.
