Default capasitor

Ok, I need information!

Today, I buy 8 capasitor SANGAMD type CDM 6700uF 75VDC

The probleme is: When I put 9 vol in, it diseaper in a second! Even if a put 4 of them in parallel.

It a compare to only one 15600 uF 50VDC who can keep the 9 volt during minute ou hours...

It is possible that this i not electronytic capasitor? Or they are dead!

Do you advise to put this capasitor in the power supply of my Zen V4 ???

What is the problem???

It's likely that the capacitors are very old, and their leakage currents are very high.

Leave a voltage between 40 and 70VDC connected to them in series with a 1k, 10W (or any value around there) resistor to limit the current they draw. Leave them like this for a few hours. Hopefully they'll slowly get better and reduce their leakage current to an acceptable (but still over-spec) value.
