Default Avid Listener --- Stereo Hi-Fi Directory

http://www.avidlistener.com

We recently added DIY Kits and DIY Parts to our directory; and I am especially interested in receiving feedback from members of this community regarding any links we've missed or mangled. Thanks in advance for taking a look and offering constructive comments.

We are considering a third DIY category for projects and 'how to' articles. Is there a need? Or are there existing directories that provide comprehensive coverage?

On a personal note, I am re-entering the DIY hobby after a 30-year absense. I suspect my first project will be a vacuum tube amplifier kit.

Avid Listener is a directory of stereo hi-fi manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and information. The focus is on two-channel home audio systems. Our audience includes audiophiles, music lovers, and industry professionals.

Unlike automated search engines, Avid Listener's directory is meticulously researched and rigorously maintained. We manually verify each link every two months, with the goal of providing a positive experience for users by minimizing defective links.

Other unique features include a thumbnail image preview for each external link – available as a ‘tool tip’ that appears when the user’s mouse rolls over the link description.

Regards,
Ron Rathe

Thanks for your comment, Bob.

Unfortunately, I had a spam-related email problem recently. I did not receive the links you mentioned; and, as a new member here, I can not (yet) contact you privately. So please try sending the links again at your convenience. My email is back to normal now.

Regards,
Ron

Thanks much for the links! Sorry about the name - thought you were the "mad scientist" quoted in your signature line.
