The duo has been used in a couple of audio products, but it'll take me a month to dig through my pile of junk from the early 80s. I should have a picture of an Electrocompaniet output stage with these devices and one from a different brand. If i run across the full graph datasheet i'll scan and post it. Together with Fujitsu and Toshiba, NEC lost the epitaxial race from Sanken. Unlike the other three brands, i did not manage to find a source for the 2SC NECs, the 2SA1141 i can still get for $1/pc five miles from where i live.
See HERE for other pics. The only Blue colored devices i've ever come across, SOA of the NECs is inferior.

Thanks you Jacco
I found them in my supplier of Toshiba, a reliable one: http://www.eltexco.pl/go/_search/ful..._words=2sc2681 for less than a $. |

Thanks, Adam.
Funny, they list the 2SC2681 but not the 2SA1141(anymore?) Overhere it's the other way around ![]() A shame the mailing charge is a bit high for the foreign small time buyer.

Hi,
1141 seems to have a nice spec. Why do devices like this become obsolete and not get replaced by a modern (better?) equivalent?
