Default What's this resistor like thing?

What's this thing that looks like a resistor but only had one black ring on it? It's labeled "B50" on the PCB. It doesn't appear on the schematic for this PCB.

Hi Buckeye Sound

Is a 0 Ohm resistor , used to link two points in the PCB and to be inserted by a automatic insertion machine .

For the last reason they look like resistors and not the usual wire link...

that makes sense. i couldn't figure out why this pin was being treated differently than the other parallel pins -- it's not.

the B in the label stands for "bridge", also known as "jumpistor"
