Why don't I see any DIY'rs using these "mil-grade" devices ?

RAD hardened devices - Far OUT

Now all I need is some TEMPEST screening and a stealth enclosure and I can make mil spec audio gear for around $200 K each.

The quotes I got from the distributor, no minimum, around $100 per device.

Apex Microtechnology makes similar power op-amps and class D amps without the extra cost of mil-specs.
