Hi all !
Does anyone here know how much capacitance/m a coaxial cable (75Ohms), just like those that we use to extend our TV antenna, have?? I built a measurement microphone, and the cable impedance is pretty critical. Best Regards ! |

there are many different types of 75 Ohm coax cable, but the majority that is used for cable TV transmission is this RG59 from Belden.

The capacitance of a coaxial cable depends on the dielectric constant of the cable, but for 75 ohms is should be around 20 pF/ft.
