I recently salvaged an E/I transformer from a Peavey Mark IV 400G amplifier. The main tap out seems to be two wires at 38.5V. The thing is, I have no idea what the VA rating on this thing is.
I know that it powered a 700 watt amplifier in its previous life, so I am guessing that will be more than enough for my little GC project; I was just hoping to find out what it could handle, should I decide to use it in a larger project. |
