Well, looking at it, it's a 9 pin connector with only 7 pins used. Common technique ... only install the pins you use!
I like challenges, so I looked through about 120 pages of connectors in the Allied Electronics parts catalogue, and I can't identify it. Were it me ... and unless it's critical that it stays "original", I would replace it with a different kind of plug and socket, or with a miniature barrier terminal strip (chocolate block) |

Thanks for looking for me. I have since found out that Panasonic used them on a weather band am/fm radio in Kenworth trucks. I really don't want to cut or splice mainly because I can't reach it without taking the whole cab apart.
