Default Backlights for NAD Receiver, CD Player

The backlights for the LED displays on my NAD Receiver model 705 and my NAD CD Player model 513 are burnt out. I would prefer to solder new bulbs into the small circuit panels the bulbs are mounted on, rather than try to order these potentially expensive circuit boards themselves. The problem is finding bulbs that are the right voltage that I can solder in place. On the receiver I get a voltage reading for the bulbs of 36 volts, and on the CD player the bulbs appear to be getting 12 volts. The bulbs themselves have nothing printed on them, so that is no help in determining how I might order replacements. Does anyone know of a source for bulbs like this? TIA

I gave up, and replaced the bulbs in my tuner with an LED array.

Did you have to install a resistor in order to use an LED array with your tuner?

Yes. I used an old 5K 1W pot, just 'cos I had it lying around.
