Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a good part and supplier for an all-in-one IEC socket solution? Ideally it would be socket, switch, pilot light and fuse, in a snap in (or screw in) panel mount. In a pinch I could do without the pilot light. Man, searching through all the bewildering choices on the major supplier sites is bewildering, and I haven't seen anything on the boutique sites with all these features. I'm not looking for an esoteric, Mystery Moose Pee Treated solution, just something reliable and inexpensive. I'll sweeten the pot with the best candidates I've found (a non-exhaustive search, except perhaps for me http://www.mcminone.com/product.asp?...715&info=specs http://www.weirdstuff.com/cgi-bin/item/22060 Thanks in advance for all help! Best, George

I've not seen any with indicator lights, but fuse/switch & IEC along with an RF filter has to be fairly common. I got given a couple sample boxes with a couple or 3 variations, and have scored a few out of my primary IEC source -- dead computer monitors.
Looks like Steve has you covered. dave

(Uh oh, he's opened the Smilies list--run!) You know Steve, I had you bookmarked, but overlooked you. And you have the gold RCA jacks I've been looking for, at a great price. Where have you been? And thanks Dave--you reminded me to start scavanging. I amost know enough now not to kill myself. Thanks to both for your help. That was painless. Best, George
