Hi and welcome to Canada!
http://www.torontosurplus.com/ looks like a great place to visit. There's http://www.partsconnexion.com/ as well. http://www.digikey.ca/ Digikey has a warehouse in Winnipeg, so if you order from them, they have a CAD pricing and no lame brokerage charges. Check your Yellow Pages for lots of smaller shops too. Young Street used to be full of them. Cheers! |

I get a Lot of my Parts off of E-Bay....I find the Prices are about 1/10th the price of retail and the Parts are of fair quality..
There are quite a few Canadian sellers on e-bay that are very reliable... Cheers |

Toronto IMO happens to be one of the best cities for electronics parts stores.
you should definitely check out Active Surplus http://www.activesurplus.com/ it does not have a good website but it is a great store. a more conventional electronics store that is well stocked is Sayal http://www.sayal.com/ they have a few locations on the outskirts of toronto. there also used to be a store next to active surplus that was quite good but i heard they moved to scarborogh. not sure about this but if another toronto native sees this maybe they can help. consider yourself lucky, you could be in chicago where i have yet to find a good electronics store. |
