Imedence Bridge
Has anyone build an impedence bridge to measure caps and coils?
I'm wondering if the bridge has to be symetric or if I can replace Z1, Z2 and Z3 with precisions resistors, Z4 with a cap or coil to be measured and vary the AC frequency. Once the bridge is balanced I could then calculate capacitance or inductance. refer to this drawing and article:  http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_2/chpt_12/5.html |
