Not junkyards but just as good.
Check out the hamfests. The next one is in Monroe. ...don't miss it. I have been going for years. I get some great stuff every time. http://www.arrl.org/hamfests.html This time, I'm teaming up with a guy and plan on selling some stuff so bring cash .The last time I did this I made $300 and turned around and spent it all on tubes there. I heard there's one out on ford road somewhere past or near wyoming. I can't remember the name just now. There is also a ham/cb place called K-40 on 14mi just east of Van Dyke. There once was a great surplus electronics junk yard on Gratiot just north of 10mi but it long since went the way of strip malls. I used to spend hours in that joint rumaging through old electronic "junk".

Thanks for the tips. I wish the Gratiot place was still there, I'll check out the K-40 place though.
