Does anyone know a good source for some big Rifa PEH169 series caps for ripple filter? It would be great if its in the North American region.

I've got a bunch of 2005 stock (non-RoHS) PEH169's:

4700uF @ 450V 2pcs
1000uF @ 200V 2pcs
5600uF @ 250V 2pcs
4700uF @ 63V 32pcs
22000uF @ 63V (Screw Terminal) 2pcs

Let me know if any of the above would work. I'd be happy to see these go to a good home, so a few dollars each (for handling and packaging) + postage at cost.

Also think of PËH200, rather close to PEH169 (still a donwgrade) and easier to find.

I'll try and get you pricing for 120 pieces of PHE169 @ 22000uF tomorrow.
What is your preference on temp? 85 or 105? 85 will, of course be a little cheaper.
Also, what voltage do you need. Evox Rifa do up to 100V at this capacitance in this range.
At 100V capacitor case is 75mm diameter x 115mm height.

Just checked, and you are correct.

Manufacturing of Evox Rifa large can electrolytics has now been moved to a low wage / weak currency location - Weymouth in England!!!

Seems that BHC are now making them under the Evox name.

Guess it's all part of the Goliath that is KEMET (TM)....

I suppose now I'll have to be patriotic for Evox Rifa instead!

The Rifas are great caps... anyway the rated shelf life is 10yrs (!!) on the PEH169

Found somewhere on the Net... can be confirmed?

Well the caps are 20% tolerance, so I reckon that gives a shelf-life of 8-12 years ;-)
