strips of ultra-flexible resistive material? Like a VHS tape?

I am looking for some ultra-flexible resistive strip that has a resistance of about 2k/cm.

VHS tape would be perfect but it's resistance is much too low, 10 K. of resistance takes about 26cm, it is about 0.5k/cm resistance

Please help me to find some specialised material/flexible coating that can be glued onto a ribbon that is about 2k/cm, it's really important project I would be very indebted to you:)

would it be possible to take a resistive wire/metal, to powder it up and mix it into a silicon coating?

You never said, how long this strip needs to be or how wide. From this you can determine the resistance, resistivity --> material, thckness.

Just about any resistive material can be RF sputtered. That;s how the foil potato chip bags are made.

You can also evaporate material onto a moving web in a vacuum onto high temperature materials such as Upilex. http://www.upilex.jp/e_tcm.html

What is your application?
Maybe there is better way to do it.

-What is the length (center to center pulley) and width of your belt?
-Is the belt can make more then one turn or just fwd/rev with limited travel?
-...

fantastic, that will keep me going with a reading material for a while.

the idea is to make some homemade ribbon controllers/faders to patch into a MIDI keyboard,so that the slide distance is the same length as the finger because it's going to be ultra performance ergonomics, and virtually zero friction/actuation force to adjust.

so the material can be anywhere in between 0.1 mm and 2cm, have perfectly linear resistance, and flexible, anything like that.

ordinary potentiometers would be okay, but they are more stiff, and more unwieldy to play performance music with than a ribbon fader.

It's a ribbon arranged like a conveyor belt, same as the image in the OP.
 
at the moment the length and width of the belt would be 12cm by 3cm,

The ribbon material would be something similar to nylon , possibly a sandwich of supportive and conductive materials

It would be able to spin multiple times so that the resistance result would be a zigzag
