Does anyone know the power rating of vintage dog bone resistors?
I have three different sizes. They are shown with modern 1/4 watt and 1/2 watt resistors for size comparison.
Thanks
Tom

Body color: first number
Color on the side: Second number
Dot on body: multiplier
Color code is the same as for modern resistors.
Example:
Body red: 2
Color on the side green: 5
Dot on body yellow: 10k
R= 250K
Don't look for tolerances, they didn't exist in those days.

Funny - not scientifically correct - note:
It is possible to determinate the age of these resistors.
They double in value every 60 to 70 year. ;)
Example:
A 250k will read +/-500k after that period.

Edit: not power rating but might be helpful anyway.
