Found some Vishay S102K very cheap

Hi,

That is cheap, even if the values are a little 'unusual', for such good-sounding resistors.

It looks like they might be OK for a few 'minimalist' HQ stepped attenuators, perhaps for a Pass pre (or something else) at a quick glance, but I would wish to consider the values for a while to be sure of this.

Do you mind telling us who has them, please, and how we could get hold of them if we wished to buy some?

Also, do you know if there is a minimum quantity for each individual order?

I would need them to be sent to the UK if I ordered some, so would prefer to pay by credit card.

Yes please, tell us..

I want to try those in my shunt att.

Use 1k series now with 100R to GND, a balanced config.

The series and one shunt is soldered, to give the max volume I use. Then a elma switch after that to attenuate more if needed.

It´s just...... I have no elma switch right now!?...
so..? (you may ask ) I only have one volume :-)

I have a LC Audio att. but it´s a R4R network so I can´t use it balanced. Guess I´ll have to find me a elmaswitch, it´s so frustrating to heat up the iron every time I need to adjust the volume.
