In LA, I always enjoyed a daytrip out to Apex Electronics in Sun Valley. Now I live outside NYC, and miss being able to sort through piles of electronic trash. Are there any electronic junkyards in the lower New York state?

City Scrap Metal just off the 59th St Bridge is a good one. There are also a few in Yonkers that get all sorts of industrial stuff.

Cuibono....
Yes the good old days, I worked there for 30 years and considered myself the SOB (Son Of BOSS) Started out on my own 15 years ago.. There still there with lots of stuff. My Brother is running it with my sister and mother there too... You might want to try Leeds Electronics in Williamsburg Brooklyn He's got lots of old Audio Stuff. Steve @ Apex Jr. |
