Anyone familiar with AVX capacitors. The BF and BQ series looks very nice, and the specs seems decent. They are very cheap, and I was wondering if anyone has used them. Any chance anyone has compared them with Wima's, thats what I think I would use them instead of if they were any good. Thanks.

well nobody responded, probably for good reason. I didn't notice that they were metalized polyester. I bought a few anyway, to give them a try, not so good. I'm sure they are fine if someone needs a cheap film cap, but I think the dipper polypropalenes sound better.
Seems like you have Wima, BC, Evox-Rifa, and just a few others that make a nice reasonably priced polypropalene cap. |
