Front Panel Manufacture

I have done a search on the forum but have not come up with anything.

I am looking for a company/manufacturer in the US or Europe who can make me a front plate for my amp. It needs to be laser or water cut, engraved and anodised.

I looked at Frontpanel Express (Seattle, WA), but they only do up to 4mm thick aluminium and I need 10mm.

I'm curious though, why do you say it must be laser or water cut rather than milled?

no reason other than I've been told the finish is better and its usually lower cost.

Well, it can be lower cost when you're doing real production runs. For onesies twosies, don't think there's much difference.

Do you have mechanical drawings ready? Also, what sort of finish were you wanting? Grained? Bead blasted? A combination? What color anodizing?

they will let you download a program and then you upload the art to them and they send it to you.

Gentlemen, thanks for the input

I've downloaded the design tools from both thyese sites and will see what the costs are when I submit them for quotes - I'll post the results on the forum.
