Default receiver parts

Hello all
My father has a Sansui G-9000DB and he was told that the main power transformer is bad. Does anyone know where i could get one at? I'm trying to get it repaired for him before the holidays start. He has taken it to 2 repair shops and both have said it could not be repaired cause its old but this thing is a classic. He's a bit old and the net is not his thing. I'm currently serving overseas in Korea and I'm trying my best to help him from here. If anyone could pass on some info i would appreciate it....Thanks

That's a very nice piece of equipment.
I'm afraid the only option you have is to find a cheap one from the scrape yard or buy another good working specimen.
There's currently one or two on Ebay...

Hum,I'm not familiar with that one.

Any chance it's the same X-fmr that's used in the Sansui 7000 reciever?
