If you want a good cable (and cheap as a bonus) to make your own interconnects, URM70 coax is a good choice as it has stranded centre conductor, one of the lowest capacitances I could find, and is 6mm diameter so suits most decent phono plugs. RG58 is an alternative that is a little more flexible and thinner at the cost of capacitance.

Choose cables specifically designed for audio applications, made by a reputable manufacturer, eg. Belden:

Avoid "oxygen free" and other fancy products; they will not necessarily be worst than standard products, but they will certainly be (much) more expensive.

Thank you very much Sir for the kind and valuable advice.
I will try to trace some vendors of this type of cable.
Kind regards,

Thank you very much Sir.
Maybe I have become too obsessed by this issue.
Or just disoriented by certain reviews about the "magic" effects of some interconnects.
I am a victim of those marketing devils.

Thank you very much and kind regards,
beppe
