Question BIAS Thing-a-ma-jig

When I build a custom chassis for my amp (Stereo 70 mod'ed to Van Alstine Super 70i) I regretably retained the original Dynaco tube sockets. Recently, several "problem" socket terminals have surfaced, so now I'm just going to change all of them out.

Anyway, the original Dynaco amp used a couple of empty tube sockets for BIAS checking, so instead of mucking up the chassis I left the 2 wires dangling inside (taped up).

While I'm in there, I want to mount something small on the chassis so that I can just stick a probe in there to check BIAS, but a couple of tube sockets just won't look good. What do you guys use, and can you recommend a site where I can purchase it/them?

Look for 'test jacks' at places like Digikey. There are small (in Europe 1mm dia) hole ones that take standard multi meter test probe points.

You might also try "tip" jacks (Allied, for example).
