Default gds-820c oscilloscope

Hi,

Does any one have this scope, if so are you happy with it. I am planing on buying it because I think it is cheap compared to other digital scopes, but I'm woried about quality. Ty.

Nice scope! Sure makes my Tektronix 2445 look real old tech. The GDS-820C are a little over 1100.00USD here.

Yea It's something like that here too, but I reconsiderd and going for the 806c model. It's basicaly the same only the freq. is lower, and more importantly It's cheaper

Depending on what your needs are,for audio a 2-4 channel 50mhz would be more than sufficient. I got my scope on ebay for 255.00 and another 200.00 for calibratiion. Besides audio (hobby) I repair and recalibrate Lab equipment (part time to support my toys ). I really like those new LCD display scopes most have WFD waveform digitizing and DPO digital processing o,scope features. Very versitile.

At this point my requiment's are for 300kHz max (SMPS, and class-d amp mainly). Yes I like them to, and this one has relatively high sample rate(25GS/s). Althou I don't know exactly how much is that because I have never seen any in action (this is my first scope), I imagine it wount be like an analog scope, but preti close maybe?
