Required : Clock generator chips

I need a crystal controlled clock generator IC for generating 10MHz sq. o/p(5Vpp). Something like 8284A but only a clock generator in it(with quartz crystal input).

Someone please provide the part number of such ICs.

Is'nt it easier to get those XO in 4 pin metal can.

Hey, I had purchased 4 pin 10.000MHz XO from KDS. But it provides an insufficient 350mVpp at 3.3V rated Vcc supply.

If this isnt abnormal, then its o/p voltage is insufficient for feeding the ref i/p of a digital PLL.

So any suggestions..?

PS : For a digital PLL, i just now found DS8906 as a serving solution.

Crystal oscillators come in 2 types 5V or 3.3V Vcc.

The PLL you mentioned DS8906,datasheet is dated 1986.Is IC still available?

you are right.. DS8906 might not be readily availabel..
I think motorola MC145170 will do.. however i dunno how old is this.. could you please find out..
