Source for connectors?

Hello everyone..

I'm looking for a specific connector set,and I'm having a hard time finding them. :scratch1:

Here's a Diagram of the connector..
That's the 'Female' part..I also need the 'Male' counterpart.
It's a plastic/nylon 4-pole connector with spade-type terminals.

It's used in automotive stuff alot, common on some factory radio harnesses, etc.
Any ideas where I could find them? :xfingers:

connector

Go to the auto shop of a gm dealer and ask one of the mechanics if he has an old wire harness from a car and see if there is a plug that matches.

Then buy him coffee.

Looks like the connectors used throughout my '91 Tempo. Junkyard time! :)

Nah,Junkyard is no good.I may need alot of them for a commercial product(s)..

Might be a good source of connectors for the prototypes though. ;)

I know it's a common, available connector.I've seen them used alot in cars and whatnot.I just can't seem to find them for sale, anywhere.

Even if I could just figure out who makes them I'd be happy. :bawling:

Just grab a catalog, Allied, Digikey, etc. and find some Molex something or other. Yeah, I'm biased toward them, they have voltage ratings of 600-1000V typically as well as produce them forever :D

Well,I've been digging through catalogs for a couple days now,and still havn't found that damn connector.

Seems everyone's gone to pin-in-socket type connections..can't find a spade-type connector anywhere.

:headbash:
