I found a circuit and it uses a 9-12V bleeper.
what is a bleeper? search for it in the net and even in the mouser catalog and I can't seem to get a definite answer. thank you. |

Something that bleeps... harharhar... . Cheers Ok seriously, the best guess would be a something like a "Sonalert". Just apply voltage, the thing beeps. Piezo with an oscillator and a resonating cavity in a package. |

Isn't the Bleeper circuit used in radio and TV to "bleep" out cuss words on the air. Serious... the radio and TV director have a red button to activate a bleeper circuit to mute the mikes.
