ok, after some mincing around - i have found that on the return of zen article mr pass suggests using a 10uf film capacitor to bypass the two eletrolitics - which i full intend to do - i only wish i had found out about that before i made the pcbs (its not really the making, but i have soldered almost everything on as well) anyhoo, i am sur ei can make them fit somewhere on the pcb....

btw, they are all going to be good polypropylene capacitors

Halcyon, I have been following this capacitor testing series too with great interest - I have not recieved the latest edition yet.
His series of articles are indeed very illuminating, and too bad if it takes away guesswork.

I believe not to believe in any fixed belief system.
