I've got my hand on a whole lot of 10.000 uF 80V caps.
Now I dont know when they are manufactured, I know they are not "old" - but that doesn't help me... Printed on these caps: SI4PH10308035070 58772 P8 I figured out that the first row is the type, capacitance, voltage and physical size - right?) But when were they manufactured? I can't see any manufacturer either - I guess they are OEM caps, probably made for the company i got these from. They are bright blue, with the print above in black. |

They do have datasheets on the SI-series (SI4P = snap in four pin). The exact type as your's is not in it (there are two other 10.000uF/80V caps of different sizes). Sadly, like in most datasheets, there's no info on the date code. I'm guessing P8 (P6 in the photo, BTW) is the datecode, but without some more info this is not very useful. However perhaps you could contact them Home - FTCap Fischer & Tausche Capacitors Group and hope they're willing to share the info. |

Thank you for sharing the info, I will try to check them with an ESR meter to see how the condition is, and if they seems to be ok maybe I will try to contact F&T to get confirmation on the capacity and voltage...
