I have a bunch of these caps...Mil surplus.
The package says 'ceramic', but I suspect that that simply refers to the outer casing. They measure 1µf (and are marked '105') and the Mil part number suggests a 100V rating, but these would be the smallest 1µf non-electrolytic I've ever seen. They are way too small and thin to be of ceramic conctruction...about the size of a 220pf ceramic cap. Any idea of what they are? Stacked film? Or is there a stacked form of ceramic that could achieve this capacitance in this small a form-factor? |

I seldom see ceramics at 1uF,they look like polyester to me.

If the Mil Number is : (or what is the mil # )
CK05 0r CK06 XX 105 they are considered monolytic caps very close to a ceramic.. 105 for sure is a 1 Uf Letter afterwards is the percentage J = 5% K = 10% M =20% HTH's Steve @ Apex Jr. |

105M100V I think the last part may just be the answer with 105 being normal capacitor rating marking and 100V limit.
It is small but I got smaller ones... |
