Unhappy What is this part on ipod 3g?

It blew out and i can not use usb and firewire.
part name = E4P7
Code = DZ3

What is DZ stand for?? I guess it's a zener diode. but it has 3 pin....

Please help me. I need to find a similar part on the market.

I found, it's a zener diode. But why 3 pins??? Any idea?

It's a zener diode with e24 package.

The third pin is NC, this makes sense.

Maybe it's just easier for pick and place equipment place correctly? just a guess

Thanks for the info, I had the same part blow due to a faulty dock, however my iPod could still sync and charge ok.
I replaced it with a BZX84 4V7 but found that the original part is not E24 but SOT323 (almost half the size). however an E24 part can just about be shoehorned in.
