I'm assembling a Dac and use ~120VAC. Trying to go with premium parts where it makes a difference. How important is quality of the on/off switch? I'm told I need a SPST switch. Rotary, toggle, button? Silver contacts? Spend $1 or $10 US? Any specific recommendations that could be sourced in USA?
Finally, how about quality of the fuse holder? Important or no? Thinking about using a ceramic fast blow fuse. Input appreciated.

thanks for the link. Highly entertaining. At the end, quite useful. Especially the scheme in employing resistor in draining caps for safety reasons upon power off. I'm going to read up on this. Thank you
