Anyone know anything about this? The datasheet (like all NTE datasheets) is utterly useless. I bought this at a shop because i needed a small regulator and it's what they had. From what I can glean from the datasheet, it is more of a voltage reference than a regulator. Does anyone know how to create an actual regulator out of this? The 3 pins are labelled Input, Ground, and Reference (which is 1.26 volts). The datasheet mentions a PNP pass transistor and an R1, R2, and C1, but has no circuit diagram to go with. How much less helpful could it be? I have had little luck trying to find a comparable regulator or voltage reference.

Hi macboy,
Oh man. It's not even a real part. Somewhere there is an original that this part is supposed to be. Don't bring anything in for service at that shop ........ It looks like an LM317 type regulator. Have a peek at the datasheet for those. -Chris |
