I was reading this datasheet (http://www.cde.com/catalogs/381-383.pdf) and came across "EIA Ripple life" and there's also load life.
I think load life would be similar to the "life time" spec found in other manufacturer. But what is "EIA ripply life"? Thanks for the help |

Did you try google?
It seems to be an industry standard for life time measurements for electrolytic capacitors. If you really do want all the details, in addition to what the datasheet already tells you, it seems you can order a hardcopy for $51 here http://www.tiaonline.org/standards/catalog/index.cfm Type 749 in the search box |
