What exactly is an "inner cut" of a pcb?

An inner cut is when you want to remove PCB material from inside the board, say to fit around a big component, or like those funky DAC boards where part of the circuit is isolated by rubber bands. Does that make sense?

Hi pinkmouse,

I think that way too, but I just want to make sure. You know technical terms are technical terms. They might mean something totally different.
